Wise has been great for me sending USD to IDR the past few years. One thing to keep in mind is the estimates for when the money will be delivered can be wildly inaccurate. Most of the time it's instant, sometimes it takes a day or two. I haven't been able to find a service that nets lower fees for relatively small & frequent transfers.

fun fact if its USD and the estimate is wrong you should be complaining about it and youve got a decent chance of a fee refund. US requires accurate estimates. Wise is supposed to give you a long estimate but they dont because no one would use a service if it was honest about timing (which is more the American banking systems fault but still). Theyre big on transparency and usually mean it but here they dont.

its still a long way from the early days of book your transfer

Wise have a comparison tool although I don't think it covers all currency pairings. It's currently showing XE as being better for 500 and 1,000 USD to IDR. I often see Moneygram at the top on other currency comparisons, but remember the better cost might not be as good/quick/reliable a service.
