The Case For Compulsory Socks

I don't wear socks, but will definitely wear them on the plane once we're seated. It's nice to take off your shoes after a lot of walking around airports. It's quite easy to throw on some socks, and fwiw, it keeps your feet warm, especially on the long overnight flights. And it's just good manners..

you *NEVER* want to use the lav while barefoot, and socks only provide a marginal “improvement”

I prefer to mind my own business and focus on myself and my family. I also don’t mind screaming children and dogs on the flight. I waved to the dog sitting behind me and I pointed out the dog to my child.
I do get fascinated with men sitting in F while their female spouse and child are not in F - this I’ll notice because I’ll see their families in baggage claim.

I can only hope that I'll be lucky enough to live to my end of days without ever witnessing something like this first hand--reading it is borderline traumatic enough.
