As per @arcticflier your best bet is to get a Doctor's note, and even better, contact the airline for their medical form and have your doctor fill it out. Some airlines call it something on the lines of "Safe to Travel Medical Form" (so that you're not a harm to yourself or fellow passengers)... you get the gist.
