Have experienced that and yes it was frustrating at first but I was never angry not even once. That kind of situation is fairly understandable and besides, most people are very considerate when it comes to emergency.

I was on a flight from SFO to NRT when a passenger indicated he needed assistance and the captain asked if there were any medical personnel onboard. Two doctors came forward and we diverted to Anchorage. It turned out the person had gone blind after the plane took off and he could not see at all. They took him off the plane in ANC and we waited on the ground for about two hours to refuel before we resumed our trip.
