Wait, what? Can you explain what you mean?

I've been between Shenzhen and Macau via HK and it's cost me 2 pages per one way! Going again next month so what can I expect?

You'll only get entry/exit stamps for the mainland; HK and Macau no longer stamp (they give you a little receipt that you're supposed to keep until you exit instead).

Could you explain, please?

Under legal circumstances it is not possible

* to cross these borders without stamps

* to cross these borders in the given time (even as a pilot)

* to cross at all from Namibia to Zimbabwe

* to cross from/to Namibia anywhere close enough. From Kazungula, next are Ngoma (75 km) or Sesheke (150km) on bad roads.

Even though the Kazungula area is of course the closest thing to a country quadripoint in the world.

* to find a "non-chalant" border guard on that continent

Yes. My friend charmed the lady that was checking passports when we drove in... http://imgur.com/dHvg4CY

I did the PRC HK MO run thrice in 1 day back when everyone stamped. That was 12 total.
You're right!

I did this one recently, but got entry and exit stamps at each border. I'm glad I got a 52 page passport.

Perhaps he mixed up the order with Namibia and Botswana. Doing that within a few hours does seem difficult though.

If I remember correctly:

Entering Malaysia (long haul arrival early morning) - transfer to LowCostTerminal (thus, had to enter/exit) - flying to Singapore, immigration to pick up luggage, so again, entry/exit stamp, then flying to Macao (they had super-cheap sales on an airline I forgot it's name) - then continue to HK for the night by ferry. I think it was 7 stamps in 1 day.

Yeah done the HKG/Shenzhen thing but no stamps for the most part.

Same day itinerary:
Singapore - Hong Kong
Hong Kong - Shenzhen (by road)
Shenzhen - Hong Kong (by road)
Hong Kong - Singapore

If we count within 24hrs I did SIN-CGK the following morning.

Nah, all land border crossings as part of an overland tour.
