Multiple times I've found bags lying flat in bins they could lie on their side--that makes a big difference in what will fit.

Passengers don't have the authority to touch baggage that does not belong to you without permission. If you need something rearranged call the FA and they will take care of it.

No, it's not your business, it's the FA's business to address. You don't have authority to touch other people's belongings PERIOD!

You are putting your belongings in a shared public space...sooooo with that you're entering into a social contract that if your stuff isn't right and causing an issue for others' compliant items, then yes we do.

Exactly. If you're so picky about nobody touching your bag, you should store it under the seat in front of you, where 1. nobody can easily get to it; 2. you can see it at all times. If it doesn't fit there, then check the bag, or bring a smaller one next time.

What irks me most are the FAs who put their bags over my F seat. Now that is a DYKWIA behavior with little regard for the customer. Many times I have wanted to remove their bags. Sigh.
