Is it possible to have visit visa of two diffrent countries at same time?

Dear All,
I need to ask a question.
I am working in Saudi arabia, My wife has visit visa of saudi arabia stamped on her passport.
I wish to go to Hongkong Macau before entering Saudi Arabia.
Is it possible?
As i heard that once you have visit visa stamped in your passport of some country, you cannot apply for another country's visit Visa, before visiting the former.
Kindly Clearify
Regards

I had a visa for a country 1 that was valid when i got a visa for a second country. I visited both countries in reverse order of my application, no problem.

Definitely possible! In fact, I'd imagine that a significant portion of this site's membership has multiple valid visas at any given time. I have six at present...

Many countries prohibit having multiple valid visas for their country at a time (e.g. a tourist visa and a work visa or two unused single-entry visas), so perhaps this is what you had heard.

HK and KSA at the same time is no issue at all.

This makes no sense. You stated that you are working in Saudi Arabia, Which means you are currently there. If you wish to say you Will be working in Saudi, future tense, this would make sense.

In either case, there is nothing from baring you from having two visas at the same time in your PP. You may have an issue if you go to Israel in the future and try to get back into Saudi.

Not to mention, you will probably have to obtain an exit-reentry visa after you arrive in Saudi but before leaving on a long or short leave. If you're not returning to your home country but are vacationing elsewhere, there's a good chance you'll have two valid visas in your passport.

Well, it better be OK: Currently I've got China, Chile, and Russia visas in one passport, and China (don't ask), Japan, Bulgaria, and Indonesia in another. Passport #3 doesn't have any, but also doesn't get used very often.

No, it's no problem to have multiple visas.

Israel would not stamp the OP's passport, although he might get more scrutiny from Israeli immigration.

This. I've had multiple visas in my passport at once more than once. Once I even had two multiple-entry visas for China in my passport at the same time. When we hit immigration the older of the two got cancelled but it was basically moot at that point anyway, it would have expired in a few minutes.

Welcome to the world of three valid passports!!!

Now you're really going to get all sorts of comments or questions saying it's impossible or illegal to have multiple passports!

Not so, if you have multiple citizenships - which few folks seem to be able to comprehend as being possible.

Hope you're as organised as we have to be as to which one to use; when, where and under what circumstances.

Of course the most obvious advantage is having a passport which carries a visa exemption for the country you wish to enter. If a visa must be obtained the fee may be hefty on one passport and gratis on another!

Lots of people living in Canada and U.S.A. have dual citizenship yet never follow through on how advantageous this can be. Arriving in Europe on an EU Passport is one example!

You can have two valid US passports at one time, too. You don't have to have multiple citizenships to have multiple passports.

There shouldnt be a problem with these different visitor visas the way people travel nowadays it is all too common to have more than one visa in operation at any one time. Good luck with your travels and enjoy your experience of each country so you can look back on those visas with pride in years to come! ^

I have 3 visitor visas in my passport right now. One is expired, two are still valid. Also have a four or five of those "buy on the spot" visas - Nepal, Egypt, etc. - in there.

For what it's worth, depending on your citizenship, you may not need visas at all for HKG or Macau, even if you would otherwise need one for mainland China.

Only two? Why not two regular ones plus an official or diplomatic passport?

You can have many visas simultaneously. My current passport has active visas for Ethiopia and India, plus expired visas for China, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Sudan, Somaliland and probably others I am forgetting.

I have also had two residence visas (UAE and Czech Republic).
