Who was wrong here?

I am staying in the hostels and me and 2 dudes who i talked to for a few days and this other german dude who i met today and 2 girls went out. At some point they wanted to get a taxi somewhere . I run out of money so i was basically blamed for going out with no money. The german guy don't me not to get on the taxi even though it is the same total price anyway. So now am i wrong for thinking this guy was a dick? If i had money and he didn't i would cover him as i have covered other people in the past.

Erm, wherever you are, and wherever you're from....You thought another dude was a d!ck because you couldn't pay for your share of cab fare?

Is that really the question you're asking? JC, above post, has the best answer you'll receive in this thread.

Well dude i am flying first class Tuesday(got the upgrade) so i am good food wise. Then i will be at my university so i got my own fridge and all. What i am trying to point out is i am not broke overall , I am just broke today and Tuesday.
I am actually in Canada so i got exactly enough money for the bus to the airport and the bus to take me to my dorm. This hostel actually has free breakfast too BTW and ive been to some that had free dinner before.

Yep. That's why you are staying in a hostel with no money.
