Rat Patrol

Dunno about you, but I would be interested in what is running around in the airports I visit. For example, last week the San Antonio airport had mice. Small and cute, they were, and very fast.

It's been awhile since I've seen them, but Denver used to have wild birds in the concourses. I always assumed they got in when it was being built.

Before the D concourse remodel, MIA had mice running around the AA gates.

There have been reported spottings in IAD as well.

My gf saw a mouse at BWI. It was in a restaurant on the Southwest concourse. This was a few years ago.

DTW has its own resident flock of sparrows swooping around in the ceilings to keep you entertained in the gate area.

When visiting NYC we used to compete to see who could spot the most rats running round on the subway tracks. Wonder what happened to all of them in Sandy floods? Rats are supposed to be good swimmers.

I've seen a mouse in a gift shop at IAH Terminal E, and have seen rat traps at the CO Club at LGA, so I assume they had a rat problem there.
