Mice at CDG Lounge
I departed last week from CDG T2B on LX and had time to go to their lounge before departure. There were only a few passengers, but also a few - mice! The latter were running around on the floor and - successfully - looking for crumbs.
I'm not afraid of mice and neither were my fellow passengers. However, it's a bit embarassing to find mice on the floor of a Gold lounge. However, the location of the lounge - an open space on top of shops/offices - certainly makes it difficult for LX to police lounge access rules for such species.
Although I take it with a sense of humour, I would prefer not to have mice in premises where food is served. But may be I'm a bit spoiled ...

I think these mice moved from JFK to CDG because of the new lounge at JFK.

I'm not sure if these are all different mice, or they just like to travel and visit different lounges. I've personally only seen them in the US club in PIT.

That longe is really an horror story on his own.
It's one on the wost in Western Europe; it's a former AF lounge converted with little or no works when AF left 2B for 2E a few years ago. I'm pretty sure I used it for a CDG-SVO and it was in a much better shape.
To be honest I'd loke to add that is a Swissport longe used also for some non Star Alliance companies (and Priority Club, iirc).
On the 28th of March the Swiss flight will became a Schenghen one and I remember there were plans to move to T1 together with other *A partners, were longes were just refurbished.

That is my understanding as well. LX will probably move its flights to Satellite 6 where LH operates from and has its lounge.
Mind you, Terminal 1 isn't that much greater than T2B.

I think I saw a 'mice in lounge (LH CDG)' thread sometime ago too in the LH forum. The poor guy must have starved to death now that the place is closed for months or moved on to better places.

As part of the AF-KLM merger deal the Schiphol lounge mice were allowed free transportation between AMS and CDG so they could take advantage of the benefits that integration brings.

True, the LX lounge is not a former AF lounge. BTW, BA has left 2B (today) for 2A.
