Minimum 1 hours layover time in Frankfurt - doable?
I'm taking a flight SKG > FRA > BOS on July 9 with Lufthansa the whole way.
My layover in Frankfurt is an hour and FIVE minutes, so Lufthansa says this is a 'legal' layover, but I'm very skeptical.
On the plus side: My gate transfer will be within the same terminal, which may make this more doable.
On the minus side: We are seated in the way back of the SKG flight. It's going to take forever to deplane...
When I called Lufthansa, they had two recommendations:
1) Use the gate-to-gate guide service -- in other words, pay an additional 55E for a Lufthansa representative to meet us at the arrival gate and escort us to our departure gate. Apparently by opting for this service they 'guarantee' that we will make our flight or Lufthansa will get us a hotel.
2) Tell the flight attendants on our SKG > FRA flight that we have a tight layover and they'll give us 'priority' for getting off the plane.
Rebooking isn't an option, sadly.
Has anyone tried #1 or #2? (I have never seen someone "prioritized" to get off a plane first I don't think, is this really a thing?)

I've seen FAs make a general announcement requesting folks without tight connections to defer to those with tight connections during de-planing. Sometimes it works; other times, people will push their way off the plane regardless.

I wouldn't sweat that connection. Even from the very back of the plane it rarely takes that long to de-plane an A320. A bit more stressful as you'll have to do exit immigration but if the inbound is on time you should still be fine.
Are you sure the SKG-FRA flight is LH-operated? I only see A3-operated with an LH code on it for that route. Doubt that makes a difference, but something to be aware of.

Thank you for the encouragement! It's been a while since I've gone through FRA and I remember it being on the slow side. Here's hoping the flight arrives on time.

Might use a hardstand so you'll get off the plane pretty quick, but have to wait for everyone to get on board the bus anyway. I think you'll have time if your flight isn't delayed, but not much to spare.

As for the connection, any chance you've got travel insurance through a CC or such which will cover you on a mis-connect? That might also come in handy.

It shouldn't make a difference either way, but I'd definitely consider that an A3 flight, not an LH flight. You check in with A3 and they handle all the processing.
