AA offers 763 service between DFW/ORD to HNL, as well as a few of the LAX-HNL and LAX-OGG flights. These aircraft have "angled-flat" seats in F.

Wow, this is really good information. From seatguru, looks like 767-300's are all angled lie flat, but there are two versions of 757 (one with lie flat, the other without). How can one tell which 757 version you are getting? (From aa.com, it just show's 757 as the aircraft type when I search several routes from LAX-HNL).

If you're flying from LAX-Hawaii on an AA 757, it's almost certainly the version without lie-flat seats. Checking the seat map (under "view available seats" on aa.com) will confirm this -- the "old" 757 has 22 or 24 recliner seats, the "new" one has 16 angled-flat seats.

Thanks Science Goy. I'll endeavor to find a route with 767 metal from LAX-HNL.
