30. San Antonio, Texas has long enjoyed nonstop service to the Mexican cities of Mexico DF, Acapulco and Monterrey. If you wanted to visit Cozumel, you always had to connect through Houston. Now finally an airline is offering twice weekly nonstop 727-200 service to Cozumel. As an added bonus, there’s even a breakfast served on the two hour and twenty minute flight. Identify the airline operating this route.
Hmm... any chance this was a secondary Mexican airline? Say... AVIACSA...

Sorry, 2A, there's no chance it was AVIACSA. That was a good guess though. Then again, did AVIACSA ever fly the 727-200? I thought they only had -100s. In any event, please - do guess again!

33: You’re flying from Chicago to Durango aboard an Airbus A320-200. Which airline are you flying aboard?
Well if it's not United, then I'd say there's a good chance it's America West

Sounds good 2A, but no - it's not America West. It is however time to start thinking out of the box...

SCHEDULES PUBLISHED IN A 1965 OAG
40. Although United is not an airline typically associated with the longest milkruns, it did have a few seven-stop itineraries sprinkled around the system. In this case we’re looking to board our flight out of Washington’s National Airport at the godawful hour of 4:50am. Seven stops and nine hours later (assuming we’re on time) we’ll taxi up to the gate at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Identify all of the intermediate stops – in order – as well as the aircraft type operated on this flight.

I will posit a Viscount, with seven stops as follows:
Dang! I was just getting ready to have a go at this one myself. Well you're off to a good start, J, riding along on your Viscount. Here's a hint that might be of help: Upon departing Washington, there was a stop before Baltimore. Good luck!

Some incarnation of Frontier Airlines?
Did Frontier even have A320s in 2001? Regardless, it was not Frontier. Think about how the question is phrased, then broaden your horizons...

42. If you were to go plane spotting at the airport in Albany, NY in early 1965, identify each of the aircraft you’d expect to see:
Time to help a brother out.....before he answers this one! Here are some guesses...
American Airlines - Douglas DC-6, Lockheed L-188 Electra
MOHAWK Airlines - Convair 440, Fairchild Hiller FH-227
TWA - Lockheed Constellation
You're off to a great start, JL! American and TWA are correct in their entirety. Mohawk and the Convair 440 are also correct, but surprisingly, not the FH227. We're looking for two more Mohawk aircraft here...

43. If you were to go plane spotting at Omaha’s Eppley Field in early 1965, identify each of the aircraft you’d expect to see:
And here are some more guesses....
BRANIFF INTERNATIONAL - BAC One-Eleven, Convair 440 and Lockheed L-188 Electra
Correct on the CVR-440 (OAG lists it as a 340) and the Electra. There was no BAC-111 service at OMA per my OAG, but there was one more BN aircaft type...
FRONTIER - Convair 580
The 580 is correct. However, Frontier also operated two other aircraft types into OMA back in early 1965...
NORTH CENTRAL - Convair 440 and Douglas DC-3
Oh, yoo betcha! ^
OZARK - Martin 4-0-4
Ozark operated a different aircraft into OMA back in those days
And the Big Dog at OMA back in the day.....
UNITED - Boeing 727-100, Caravelle, Douglas DC-6B and Douglas DC-8
You've hit them all except one! Now then, which one was it...?
