Lounge lice

We've all heard the term gate lice... How about lounge lice? There were at least 20 people lined up in front of the LAX RCC about 20 mins before the club opened. Plenty of comfy seats around for them to relax in right outside the lounge while they wait for it to open...

Why not? People have used this board for far less productive discussions.

How do we know he/she is complaining.
I ask the same question of you.
Is it really worth complaining about his/her post?

It can be irritating if you have been waiting patiently and in a civilised manner., away from the entrance. In the last few minutes before the opening, 20 people line up.
Does it matter if you are the first one to get in or the 21st?

Now I have been on a very early flight connection and was wanting to get in and take a shower. Maybe some of these "lounge lice" were also?

Ha, definitely not complaining, no time for me to use the lounge before my flight this morning. Just an observation.

I hope never to be at the airport that early in the morning!

However, the thread reminds me of the old days when the Biz Elite passengers would circle the Delta overseas lounge buffet like a pack of starving wolves about to be let loose at an abattoir.

So if you pay for the lounge, where else would you wait? whats your point?

It's amazing how fast some are to call a simple observation a complaint.

I saw an even funnier one a while ago. It was like 5:40, don't remember which airport it was, but there were these two people lined up waiting for the lounge to open at 5:45 or 6:00. I laughed as I was walking by apparently they did not see the paper on the back of the door that was barely visible through the smoked glass

"Lounge closed for renovations, please use such and such a lounge at gate whatever"

On the way back a few days later I half expected them to still be standing there in line.

Some people just like to be in line waiting for people to open up. It's just their nature, and not just at airports.
