Fairy tale cities
I've heard Quebec City described as a fairy tale city. Having lived there for a short time, I would certainly agree.
Everything I've seen & read about Bruges suggest the same.
My question is what other cities would you describe as a fairy tale city?

Not quite a traditional fairy tale setting, but Cape Town IMO has the best setting of all the cities I've visited. Table Mountain, the Atlantic and the various other smaller (but no less impressive) peaks make for an absolutely stunning landscape.

I can confirm OP's suspicion that Bruges fits the bill. Another for me is a small part of a big city -- Ile Saint-Louis in the center of Paris.
A couple of others that come to mind:

In many cities there's an "old city" quarter of traditional construction, medieval architecture, and narrow streets that would qualify, and there are quite a few towns and villages with enough old buildings and layout to stage a fairy tale in the right lighting. A few I've been to include Fes, Rhodes, Hoi An, Marrakesh, Salisbury, and Luang Prabang.
