I'd go with Sydney also. Runner ups Maui, Rio, Buenos Aires, Barcelona. Continental US Chicago, Miami Beach, San Diego.

Fukuoka is walkable depending which part of the city you want to get to, however there Subway connection to the airport if you have 250 Yen to spare.

Dubai - visited nearly 10 years ago now and it was incredible, gone downhill a lot since im told

Prague - Wonderful city, visited Terezin concentration camp and it made a big impression on me

Seattle & Portland,OR - was over that way this summer and felt very at home in Seattle and loved the vibe, similar for Portland which to me as an uneducated Brit seems a lovely relaxed city......also went out to Mt Rainier and saw some stunning scenery

NZ+1: stunning scenery, plenty to do for outdoors types (great walking, kayaking), fantastic wine (most importantly), very relaxed, easy driving, good internal flight network.

A long way away from the UK, but spending cash on CX F is a wonderful way of getting there.

Princeton, NJ. I love the entrance to the University from Route 1.
In fact, once you get out of the industrial grime that most people see from NYC, New Jersey is a pretty amazing place.

Where else could you have something like the Tastee Sub Shop?

Would it be fair to say that you like islands?

Anyways, I'm really struggling to answer the question.

Some of my favourite places are:
Mission Beach, Queensland, Australia
Oslo, Norway
Kyoto, Japan
New York, US
London, UK
Vilnius, Lithuania
York, UK
Copenhagen, Denmark

I apparently don't like islands much, Great Britain excluded.
