When I immigrated to the US, the place where I spent the first two years discovering America was Raleigh. I have moved to a different city and state now but NC is close to my heart and from whatever travelling I have done within the US all these years, I think there is no other state more beautiful than NC For me , its HOME.

Double ^ . I love international travel, but it's hard to beat a week backpacking in the Sierras.

And I envy everyone their first trip to Israel - truly magical no matter what your background!

  • Pristina, Kosovo
  • Beirut, Lebanon
  • Amritsar, India / Lahore, Pakistan
  • Bogota, Colombia

All for different reasons, but they all are places not many Westerners venture. While I love the Caribbean and Las Vegas, I prefer to be somewhere that "tourists" stay away from. If there is a US State Department Travel Warning, I go!
