Trying out expertflyer.com. Says all 0's on SQ flights

I'm chekcing Sq from PVG to JNB in january. SQ site says E class available for around 1450USD incl tax. Expertflyer says:
SQ 833 0 PVG
01/07/10 4:20 PM SIN
01/07/10 9:55 PM 773
Unavailable
76% / 22m F1 P0 A0 Z0 C0 J0 D0 S9 Y0 B0 E0 M0 W0 H0 Q0 N0 V0 T0 L0 K0

SQ 478 0 SIN
01/08/10 2:30 AM JNB
01/08/10 7:10 AM 772
Unavailable
95% / 12m Z0 C0 J0 D0 L0 K0 S9 Y0 E0 B0 M0 W0 H0 Q0 N0 V0 T0

Am I doing something wrong, or is SQ does expertflyer not work with SQ?

I've noticed recently EF with SQ availability is flaky.. but I've seen the opposite. EF says inventory is available but when trying to book, no availability exists.

[Edited by Moderator now that threads have been merged.]

Those flights show inventory now so it was a problem that solved itself overnight.

I'm trying to set up a flight award notification and keep getting an error msg that says "The flight details provided do not match any scheduled flight."

The problem I imagine has to do with the flight number - AA980 which runs in a loop MIA-SSA-REC-MIA. Expertflyer recognizes my award notification request for AA980 MIA-SSA but NOT for AA980 SSA-REC or REC-MIA. Can you please fix this bug. Is there some way that I can save an award notification for AA980 SSA-REC-MIA? Many thanks.

ExpertFlyer Voice Oct 12, 2009 4:39 pm

bennytma, this is not a bug. No results will ever be returned on an SSA-REC segment for AA because AA can't market flights that don't touch US soil at some point. If it can't see the flight, then the alert system can't create an alert.

As for the REC-MIA segment I was able to create a Flight Alert for U class for AA 980 on 11/12/09 without a problem

Please email more specific information about the date and class code you're trying to create the alert for to [email protected] for follow up.

I am curious, when issues such as "X" class not being returned to you from AC after the recent shake-up of booking classes there, do you reach out to AC and inquire as to the issue?

We do have ongoing realtionships with many airlines however we cannot comment on any specifics.

Any update on when "X" class will be available from AC via ExpertFlyer?
Thanks! :)

Does EF now recognize the Continental (CO) is part of the Star Alliance when doing a search and choosing an alliance rather than an airline?

Yes it does.

Any plans to allow ExpertFlyer to search for *A rewards rather than just choosing a single reward airline? It would be nice to be able to search for reward travel across *A airlines (similar to being able to search for regular flights on *A partners).

Thanks...

Sure, but *A would need to give us the data/permission to do so.

I heard from AC today and they indicate that they are not blocking X (or any classes) from being visible on the GDS ... so EF should be able to see it?
