Import Service Available
The "import" function is now live. Actually, it's an import service where you email your excel file and they enter it for you. And it's gonna cost you.
The German version has similar cost, in Euros. They are also rolling out a "Premium" version for German users where you can enter more data and have more sort functions and statistics, also at an additional cost.

Import of Excel/CSV files
Too many flight data to enter it all yourself?
Then try our new FlightMemory - Import Service!
To cope with the many different wishes of our users, we have developed the following model for pricing:
Number of flights min max
up to 100 US$ 20.00 US$ 30.00
up to 500 US$ 30.00 US$ 45.00
up to 1000 US$ 40.00 US$ 60.00
up to 2000 US$ 50.00 US$ 75.00
over 2000 US$ 30.00/1000 US$ 45.00/1000
min? max? To assure fair prices for all, we differ between the amount of datasets (see table above) and the amount of information imported.
Read the following table - we differ regarding the amount of data each flight has.
To better understand the differences in the amount of information we have added two sample files at the end of this page. Please view them before ordering an import.
Import types:
Type Includes this data (columns of the file)
min Departure: Airportcode, Date and Time. Arrival: Airportcode, Date and Time
max see min + Flight number, Airline, Airplane, Registration, Airplane name, Seat, Seat type, Travel class, Flight as, Flight reason, Comments
Condtions of Service:
* Airport -city, -name and -country are filled by the system
* Flights involving airports, we do not have in the system will be ignored in the import
* If date and times are entered, the flight duration is calculated accordingly (Plese enter local time)
* If no date and time is entered, we will estimate a flight duration
* Flightnumber and airline will be imported as it is stated in your file; we will not adapt any data as the system usually does (as there are too many types our users use)(Example:if you send us the flightnumber AA0035 in your file without entering "American Airlines" in the field "airline" the field Airline in the system will not be showing "American Airlines")
Once the data is imported, you will receive a protocol showing you how it went. If any problems occured, they will be noted in the protocol (e.g. missing airports)
The data has to be sent to us in Excel or as CSV-Format (Please no Excel 2007).
Sample-Excel-File for min
Sample-Excel-File for max
For orders, please send an email with your file attached to [email protected]
As soon as we received the confimation of payment, we will get to it.

Dang...this is cool, but not worth spending money on, so back to the old fashioned way...give me a bunny suit and a drum cause this is like an advertisement for Energizer batteries...it keeps going and going and going

Five Dollar Frank
Speaking of sightseeing overflights, does anyone know the airport code for the (now ended) New River Gorge flights by Five Dollar Frank?

Any one with a good memory?
A bit of a long shot this, but I'll ask anyway just in case somebody can help me.
I've added all 114 flights dating back to 1983
and I'm trying to get as much info as possible but there is an equipment type and airport I can't remember, so I'm wondering if somebody here might be able to offer a suggestion.
TWA London to Washington January 1990
But what aircraft? The clue I can give is in first class, the seating was arranged 2-1-2 and it was't a 747. I'm wondering about tristar or 767.
And also, at that time were TWA flying to Heathrow or Gatwick?
Thanks!

I've entered all the routes I've taken that I can remember, but not all the individual flights.
I got tired when I started entering all the Bay Area to L.A. area flights. I've flown that route several times a year for the last twenty years. There's no way I can even remember exactly how many times I've flown that route, let alone have the patience to enter them all. So I gave up.
So the total mileage of my flights is wrong, but the maps are correct.

Here it is. I think their stats go back to 1995 or so; I have found that searching by scheduled departure time is the easiest.
http://www.bts.gov/programs/airline_...ledStatistics/
you can look the N-Number up on the FAA's site to see what type the a/c was if you don't have that info. http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinqu...um_inquiry.asp

If it is a regional airline flight Ill put in the marekting carrier's code down. So for an Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight I'll record it as Delta Air Lines DL4734 and then in the comment field put in Operated by Atlantic Southeast Airlines as Delta Connection.
If the codeshare flight is operated by another carrier that sells its own tickets I would record that actual airline. For a Delta codeshare say on Northwest, I would record it as Northwest Airlines NW1610 and then as the comment put Codeshare Flight Ticketed as Delta 6813.
Besides this info, i'll put if I was upgraded or if I was an award ticket. Does anyone else use the comment fields for data like this, or just leave it alone?
