Where does the KVS tool get its data and is KVS authorized to provide this data in the manner it is presented?

The tool is known to access a variety of web sites, many in a manner that is not authorized. Please see the next section of this Wiki for a list of sites believed to be accessed and their data access policies (where known).

Additionally, under some conditions the tool appears to access sites via a KVS-operated back end. This means that the tool is not just a 'web browser' that runs via a user's machine. No detailed public information is available about how this works or whether any of this back-end access is authorized.

Unfortunately, the old Sabre-ITN POS was decommissioned a couple of days ago, and the new POS shows a different subset of classes. I am currently looking for a replacement source for that data ...

At the moment, I am not aware of any issues with displaying fare rules for AC's fares.

Indeed, the Tool shows Standard award availability (CS, YS). For AC that would translate into "Classic" rewards.

Why would the tool show flight connecting in totally awkward places such as the examples mentioned? (Using Apollo/ITN, limit to 50 lines.) Does it simply try to fill the number of lines requested?

I have difficulties pulling up some BA fares. For examples I can't seem to pull up I-class and D-class fares between London and Europe and can only pull up full J fares from NYC to LON. I'm trying both sabre methods. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Is there any way to limit availability searches to just the day you searched for. E.g. I'm looking for a flight tomorrow and it's pulling up flights that operate 4 only or 567 only. Speaking of which, I'm assuming Monday is 1, is that right?

Have you selected [Sort By: Airline]? If so, try choosing another option -- [# Of Connex] normally works the best.

Other than not reading the KVS Tool FAQ under "Q: Why are the cheaper Business/First-class missing from the fare listings, when using one the [Fares] methods?"
