Getting Award Tix Availability Alerts?

I'm relatively new to the miles game, but thanks to considerable business spending, have been accumulating nice quantities of miles and points.
However, using them has been far more of a challenge.
My schedule is very inflexible, all leisure travel must take place Thu-Sun (maybe one more day to make it last a little more) or on long weekends.
Because of the tight schedule and limited time, I greatly prefer direct flights.

So naturally, I can't always get saver level fares and have to redeem at standard levels - which is obviously very poor value.

OTOH, I'm flexible in my destinations.
I was wondering if there is a way to get alerts for saver fares availability to different international destinations for weekend dates.
I can do this in expertflyer, but it would take hundreds of alerts - even for 10 destinations, to set up 20 weekend alerts is 200 alerts. I don't know if it's practical or even possible to do in expertflyer.

Are there any other tools that can be of use?

Welcome to FT!

A quick note generally if you are starting a thread that is asking a question, it's best to signify that you're asking a question by using a question mark. Otherwise, it seems like a statement, as if you're sharing something you've found.

On to your actual question though, I don't know of any alerts like that, but there is a page of what American Airlines calls hot spots that lists destinations having the greatest amount of saver tickets available. I'm also pretty flexible as to destination, so sometimes I check that out. I wish other airlines had a similar page.

Have fun!

Thanks -that page is actually very helpful. I checked out a few destinations and found more availability than I'm used to seeing on AA.
I looked on UA and found this page
https://www.united.com/web/en-US/con...averaward.aspx
seems very similar to AA, with even greater flexibility because it allows you to set departure city and looks farther ahead.

Didn't find anything similar on Delta though...not surprised.
