Either do I but it has its uses...

Biigest problem for me is it often seems to return "Nothing found" especially on more complex itins that ITA produces results for.. OR.. on those multi-segment/multi airline trips it quotes a price several times that obtained from ITA..

SO.. another tool to use.. along with XP/Orbitz etc.. and my TA!

Hipmunk Price Not Accurate?

Hey everyone. I'm trying to fly LAX-ASU r/t from May 25 to June 2.

Google Flights and ITA both show UA1565, UA1034, CM291 (LAX-IAH-PTY-ASU) and CM 206, UA 1031, UA 1121 (ASU-PTY-IAH-LAX) for $912. I found it on Hipmunk for $912 which linked to United where the price became $1337.90

I've tried Orbitz, Kayak, Expedia, Vayama and every other place I can think of, but I can't find this for anywhere near the $912.

Any ideas?

How can I tell?

One other thing of note. On ITA this prices out at the $912 with all 6 segments in the N booking class. When Hipmunk links over to United the 4 UA segments are in the N booking class, but the 2 CM segments are V.

That price bucket ran out but didn't yet upgrade there. Happened to me with various OTAs a billion times.

Advanced Routing / Hipmunk Help / Force Layover

Can someone help me remember how to use advanced routing codes in Hipmunk to force a layover somewhere?

More specifically, I'm looking to do an open jaw trip from LAX, SFO to HAN and then return NRT, HND to LAX, SFO via GUM.

I thought I just had to do TYO::GUM in the from field, but that doesn't work. I used Hipmunk last year when I went to NRT to force a layover in HNL and then used same day changes to stay in Hawaii for a bit. I'm hoping to spend a day in Guam with the same technique this time.
