World Mate
The way Flight Update Pro works is by either manual entry or quasi-automatic by setting up a free Tripit account. Each time you make a reservation you can either forward the confirmation email to Tripit or set Tripit up to automatically import email. Once you open the App it automatically imports the Tripit data (which can be used off-line and puts your flights directly in to the iPhone Calendar which in turn synchronises with Outlook or whatever calendar you have on your PC/Mac.
Travel Track Pro can handle all this ... and it gets its info in exactly the same way as Flight Update Pro (they are from the same software company).
I use both, although you would easily manage with just Travel Track Pro.
With the amount of travel I do I find both extremely useful and very much a time saver.

World Mate does all of this as well as archives your previous trips. Everything in one place, can link to social media sites (if you so choose), you can forward trip details to others via email.
It has lots of service features (Tip calculator, weather, currency converter etc). The hotel info can take you right to a maps, phone #'s. [U I love it.[/U]
I've used it for a few years, had it on my BB and now my iphone with no hiccups. The Gold version is 9.99 (much cheaper than Tripit pro) and will update you with flight status and gate changes before the airlines do.

Here's another one (new): Flight+ : iPhone app (1.99) and an iPad app (2.99)
It is slickly programmed. It can import flights from Tripit, does the usual stuff that other apps such as FlightTrack do, but exceptionally can also show route maps of all flights of any airline, or maps of all flights to/from any airport. I was seriously impressed.

2.0 also has route maps (showing individual trips, and also maps of all past and future flights) and calendar integration

Thread resurrected!
Just switched from iPhone to Android and am looking for a MyFlights replacement. Myflights was PERFECT for what I wanted - just enter one Amadeus code and all details retrieved automatically - including, crucially, seating info.
Then if anything changed with a reservation, I'd get an alert.
Is there an equivalent app for the Android OS? Closest I've found after reading this thread is Worldmate, but I don't think that supports Amadeus and therefore would lack automatic retrieval of seat selection / change info. Not keen on spending 10 (per year!) if it lacks those.
Any Android users care to suggest?
Thanks!

Just as a side note... I am planning on writing an Android version, but it's a way off. I need to write it from scratch (and learn a new programming language) but it is on the wish list!

I still use FlightAware .. one of the first web flight trackers, and I think still the best.
I guess I need to try a few more, but I like being able to choose different overlays for viewing the flight (topo, weather, airnav)

Has anyone else noticed problems with FlightTrack?
It was as much as 15 minutes late with updates today. Plus when I tried inputting some future flights for July on Delta, FlightTrack gave me incorrect scheduling and airport information.
