NGage......?

The NGage was Nokia's original failed attempt at a hand held games console that is also a mobile phone. NGage has since become a platform for mobile gaming which comes as standard on a lot of the high end N Series phones (starting with the N95, if I remember correctly).

I'm guessing the N97 will support NGage though the device seems to cause a lot of confusion because of its "oh so serious" QWERTY keyboard (which is a nod from Nokia to Social Network users IMO and will be great for Twitter and Facebook updates and also for IM).

The N97 is an NGage device. Whether it'll be any good with a relatively weedy processor driving a high resolution screen (see also 5800) is another question.

Are NGage programs/games freeware...?

I assume not and you have to buy them online?

There's no OS limit, but as 32GB cards are only just becoming available, there's no confirmation that they will work. They should do though.

If anybody has an update on when these units begin to ship, please post here and give us a heads up. I guess there are a couple of FTers that already ordered their unit so it would be great to hear from you all when you get your new phone!!!

Thanks,
Gaucho

For those that have ordered this using the mentioned US pre-order.. have you read the fine-print on the cancellation policy...? I ask this because since Im looking for someone to buy this from me in the US and bring it down to EZE, Im waiting for these to ship out and at the same time would 'prefer' to have an order placed now, so as to get one of the first available unit... only that I have to understand what the cancellation policy is so that I dont end up buying more than one unit.

Any ideas...?

Thanks,
Gaucho100K
