iPhone Adapter Exchange

Just to let you know, there was a recall on the iphone's AC/USB power adapter (it broke off in the plug). Fill out the form and get a new one in the mail within a week.

Or, if you are lucky enough to live near an Apple Store, pop in and make the exchange.

got mine in post 2-3 days ago with a threat that if I don't send back the old one within 10 days they will charge my credit card $29.99... I wonder how will they find out the number (wonder if they could cross-charge to my iTunes account)

The box had a second label (under the original one). If you threw it away, send me a PM and I will give you the address on it.

I wondered about that as well, then sent back the old adaptor because I decided that it wasn't worth the hassle to try and find out.

Of course, the shipping label had an "expiration" date of Jan, 2009 so who knows what would happen?

Didn't they send everyone an SMS about it? I know I at least got two.

Anyway, it was pretty painless to exchange at my local Apple store. They do want your iPhone serial number, so don't forget your phone.
