iPhone Adapter Exchange

Just to let you know, there was a recall on the iphone's AC/USB power adapter (it broke off in the plug). Fill out the form and get a new one in the mail within a week.

Or, if you are lucky enough to live near an Apple Store, pop in and make the exchange. :)

got mine in post 2-3 days ago with a threat that if I don't send back the old one within 10 days they will charge my credit card $29.99... I wonder how will they find out the number  (wonder if they could cross-charge to my iTunes account)

The box had a second label (under the original one). If you threw it away, send me a PM and I will give you the address on it.

I wondered about that as well, then sent back the old adaptor because I decided that it wasn't worth the hassle to try and find out. ;)

Of course, the shipping label had an "expiration" date of Jan, 2009 so who knows what would happen?

Didn't they send everyone an SMS about it? ;) I know I at least got two.

Anyway, it was pretty painless to exchange at my local Apple store. They do want your iPhone serial number, so don't forget your phone.
