wunderground radio... with 30,000 radio stations - DAB, FM and internet radio, there's always something you want to listen to (easy to choose by genre, decade, location) plus US police band and ATC stations if that's your bag. When on 3G network I'll tune the bitrate down and when on my home wireless network I'll jack it back up. Best app I've bought thus far.^

That's a heck of a nice prize package!

One beef I have though...it says that entries are limited to 25 per person, per day, regardless of entry type. So I entered once using the online form, and when I went back to enter a second time it gave me an error of: "You have already entered too many time today".

I don't know if it's been mentioned here already but I use Instapaper Pro ^^^ while doing my treadmill workout to catch up on blogs and news. It was good when it first came out and it's getting better.

Making my first mr tuesday, and looking at iphone travel apps to download. I just bought FlightControl, based on everyone's rave reviews, but I want a slightly more 'practical' ;) app for actual flight tracking without going thru the browser. I'm trying to decide between Flight Track/Flight Track Pro (is the Pro version worth it?) and Flight Status/Flight Update...I also would like something like Gate Maps, although the airports it covers are pretty limited.
Any advice from some experienced iphone flyers?

here's some of the apps I use

beejive
skype
facebook
backgrounder (for beejive and skype)
search (to search emails)
intelliscreen
winterboard
5-icons dock

can't wait for 3.0 so I can send invites on meetings

So Apple just sold the billionth app. They have a neat list of the top paid and the top free apps on the site too.

I have 8 of the top 15 free apps and zero of the top paid apps. I use only one or two of those 8 regularly (Facebook and Shazam). Seems like most of them have been around since the Phone originally came out. It would be interesting for a list of top apps that you can sort by week or month (I don't think this exists as opposed to the hourly one on the side bar).

Hopefully the next billion will bring about some new favorites.

Darn it - was hoping to get notification that I was one of the winners for their billionth download :)

I think that A) there will only be ONE winner and B) I don't believe they've notified them yet so you may still be lucky.

Well, they announced the winner...

...a 13-year old from CT won.

Somebody just became the most popular kid in school.

I'm also a Flight Control junkie. I usually score around 75 on a good game, but somehow managed to score 142 last week. Not sure if I'll ever be able to beat that score.

Other apps I like to use is Lose It, MyBudget, Twitterfic, Crayon Physics and SimCity. The last app I downloaded was TripIt that is used in conjunction with the website of the same name. I haven't used it yet, but if it's anything like the site, I'm thrilled that I'll be able to keep all the details of my itineraries in one place.

TripIt for iPhone is fantastic! Just email all your itineraries (air, hotel, rental car, etc) to TripIt and they all show up in 1 neat itinerary on your iPhone! Extremely useful for the flyertalker.
