Are you kidding?!!? You play with your iphone 3g on a flight of two or three hours and you will need to recharge when you get off the plane. I like my iphone 3g but battery life stinks.

But that was not your question. Just venting. :)

My favorite game is probably Crash Bash.

Depends on what you're doing. Just listening to music with the screen off is not a significant drain on the battery. With apps, the battery hit can be reduced if you drop the screen brightness.

I like Solebon (solitare) and BJ Run Lite (kind of a 5-handed speed blackjack game).

you do have a point there! but putting the phone on airplane mode does save quite a lot of battery. But we ALL switch to airplane mode before we take off right?! =)

I use to like Enigmo, but it drains battery very fast.

Lately, I've been watching a lot of video podcasts. I usually watch the Today Show, then other TV shows or movies I download.

Another ^ for Solebon. Its so easy to get sucked into - the hours just while away. Actually, I should qualify that last remark. I think about 3 hours of constant play is about the limit before the battery drains completely.

I love all the games in the Papi series. Papi Jump, Pole, and River. They are simple yet fun and I like how they combine easily with the highscores for all the users.

Cool! Is it available anywhere for 1.4 jailbroken Iphones?

What is the source URL?

I meant the source URL for the software. This is needed to install with Installer.

Nope, this is from the App Store, so you need to be running a 2.0 firmware.

Yes I know that I can't use the App store. That's why I'm looking for an URL to the source. Since this is Google we are talking about, I would expect them to have it out there somewhere. I'm looking, but I haven't found it yet.

They'd have to actually go out and create an Installer repository in order for you to get it that way. It's not just a simple download URL - they have to set up some other magic bits to get it into Installer.

(And, it wouldn't suprise me at all if Apple's developer agreement only allowed them to distribute through the App Store)

Are you sure? I've installed several other applications that were not normally in Installer, simply by telling Installer the source URL. Fring is one example. What is the "Installer Repository"?
