Data storage solution - international delivery
I need some suggestions.
I need to send about 20-30GB data from US to Japan a few times a year. What is the most cost effective, practical, and technically sound way to do this?
USB flash drive(s) that I send over and then get sent back when done? Portable hard drive? I don't have a DVD recorder. I think CDs would be a bit much. I am thinking a 32GB flash drive would be best. Would the data hold up in transit using regular airmail?

30Gb isn't that much nowadays, you could probably send it over the Internet in about 4 days. Otherwise I'd just get a rugged 32Gb USB drive. It'll be just fine in airmail.
Just be sure to apply encryption if it involves anything sensative (use Tryecrypt).

Thanks - via internet is not an option. Data is not sensitive. I see Corsair has $40 rebates making their 32GB drive a tad over $100. That is where I think I am going to go unless some other "great" option comes up.
