best way to charge iPod on the road?
Has anyone found a good method for charging iPods while on the road? I don't want an AC adapter. Something that runs on batteries preferably. The Energizer Energi looks good but its way too expensive at $30.

Then you won't like this one:
http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/tunejuice2
As it is also $30 (or $22 from Amazon).
A cheaper solution would be one of the many battery packs on Ebay. Just search for iPod battery pack.

Can you expand on what you mean by "on the road"?
If you're in a car you can get chargers that connect to a cigarette lighter. They're very cheap. Or you can get a charger AND FM transmitter all in one.
If you're in a bus you'll want an attachment that plugs in at the bottom and let's you use replaceable batteries.
A great place to look for this sort of stuff is DealExtreme, but shipping can take some time. WARNING: Very addictive site... hard not to buy from!!

petrarch1603, I know people who have bought from it no problem. It's a legit site, though some goods are clearly mimics of original goods.
Someone described it as "shopping on the streets of Hong Kong.... from the comfort of your own home!".
I hope you get it in time.

Some selection of iPod accessories at very resonable prices is at Monoprice. Shipping is also very resonable.
