Adding files to image file?

How to add extra files to an image file in ISO/MDF or any other image format. I normally use Magic ISO for burning image files on CD or DVD as required, but it does not allow to add new files to be burnt at the sametime on CD/DVD.
Any suggestions?
thanks

There's the patheticly simple workaround of mounting it with MagicDisk, copying locally to a temp location, adding the files and then burning back to ISO with ImgBurn.

Not sure if you're looking for something more elegant than that, but it should work.

I thought about this one, obviously will need more space and more time, isn;t there any software that will just let you add extra files and then burn the image and extra files to CD/DVD?

I believe PowerISO may work this way - I havent played around with it much but I have made changes to files in there and saved the changes ...

When I read this thread title, I assumed it was going to be about how to do steganography.
