I drove around LA today and it worked quite well.

Not terribly accurate but just the fact that the map will move to your approximate location is a HUGE time saver.

Same in Detroit. It works better in areas where there are a lot of towers, it gets you within half a mile or so of where you are in urban areas.

I upgraded earlier today and I do like the new version (I have a BB 8800), but I tend to use Windows Live Search more frequently. I should upgrade my wife's 8300 (Curve); she will appreciate the "fake" GPS.
