I tried Password Safe and it just isn't on par with Keepass.
What's worse is that it doesn't auto-lock the workspace when you minimize it or close the screen. That leaves it open for whoever has access to your PC.
Keepass has a much nicer user interface and is open source as well. Try it and see if you like it.

There's several configurable options now for locking the database when you minimize it.
Unless Keepass has a utility to migrate from PWSafe I don't think I could move to it or any other program given the volume of data I have stashed in here.

Yes Keepass has an import function to load data from PWsafe.
Keepass is truly amazing. Try it and see how you like it. It requires no install, unlike pw safe. That means I can run the full version from a USB drive or a PC without admin rights.

Speaking of running apps from a USB drive. If I load one of these applications on a U3 (RoboForm supports U3) or USB stick, will they work with any browser? My work machine defaults to IE but I still use Opera and/or Firefox for somethings. One home machine uses Netscape and the rest are Firefox.
Will that pose a problem or do they just work with one program?

FireFox has it built in and it is intelligent and customizable. Best of all whenever you go to that page/site it remembers and puts both UserID and password in the fields -0 no need to click another button it just remembers it
Might not want this for a portable in case you loose it...?
