Annotating PDFs
I get a lot of pdf files lately in my travels and am looking for ways to annotate them. I looked at Adobe Acrobat and it seems overkill for what I want to do, which is annotate them and if possible digitally sign them off.
Are there other solutions out there that people are using?

I use FoxIt PDF editor. It's not perfect, but works okay. You can try it for free, and then buy it if you like it. The free version puts an ad blurb at the top of any page you've changed. The paid version eliminates this annoyance.

I've used PDF Annotator for the times I'm away from my office scanner.
It worked OK for me, there is a trial version so you could give it a try.

There are plenty of PDF editors available. Perhaps something like PDF Factory? http://www.fineprint.com/products/pdffactory/index.html
Adobe Acrobat is such a hog.
