This should make hotel connectivity a bit easier...

I've been running a TISP Linux server in the shed out back for years. Problem is, I have well and septic service, not connected to the municipal system, so it only serves as a replacement for a WiFi lan. I do have occasional problems with clogged pipes inhibiting bandwidth.

Location: IAD, and sometimes OMNI/PR. Currently: not far from IAD, but home will always be SAN (not far from the "touch my junk and I'll have you arrested" Memorial TSA Check Point) even if I'm not there so much these days.

That pesky "last mile" problem finally solved! A brilliant alternative to dark fiber.
make sure you drop your poop to weigh down the wires better.

My favorite was the 2002 paper on how Google's search technology really works.
