Windows XP User Profile Question
Here's a screenshot of my travel laptop's User Profiles:

...which shows my main Administrator logon settings as 3.11gb. Does that look right to you? I always thought these profile things were just mainly your personal settings preferences that were loaded at startup. And if that's correct...that looks awfully large to me. Or are User Profiles much more than just settings, and that looks perfectly normal?
Thanks!

Your Windows "profile" includes all the files on your desktop or in your My Documents folder. Consequently, it tends to get large. One standard recommendation: you should avoid using the administrator account for normal work. This precaution makes it somewhat harder for viruses, spyware, and other unwanted software to completely take over your computer.
