Shure e2c tip size question.

Shure e2c tip size question.
picked up a pair on ebay for roughly $60 less than in the shop here in UK.
Got them today. I love them! Sound is absolutely fantastic. I still like my koss but with the Shure I can get spare foam or plastic tips.
Anyway - here comes the question.
I am currently using the flexi tip size small. It feels like the headphones keep sliding out my ears all the time, and I don't get the full range of the sound. Am I using the wrong size tip?
Other than that - I can hear absolutely nothing of what goes on around me. It's quite weird to be this isolated from the rest of the world.

Experiment. I use the compressible foam tips, small size and that works great for me. I was using the medium but on longer flights - 9+ hours - it was not completely comfortable. Personally, I don't like the silicone tips so much, but others swear by them.

Always use the compressible yellow foam tips. They're better in every respect (except that they get a litlle nasty lookng after a while and need to be replaced rather than cleaned. I have a bag of 20 replacement tips at home).

i personally find the E 3 's better than the E2C's.... for spares try , if my memory serves me right studiospares in london , thats where i got my last tips from ....

I like the triple conical ones, although they get a bit nasty too. If you like the 2s/3s, the 4s will blow you away. I can only imagine what the 5s are like (just upgraded from 3s to 4s).

I can't recall if it was from Shure themselves or Head-Fi but I ordered an assortment pack of eartips to see which ones fit best. The triple-flange pieces do offer the best seal but I find 'em uncomfortable and use the grey soft flex sleeves in Medium.
