Bluetooth headset for use in noisy environment

I am looking for a Bluetooth headset that will pair up with my Nokia 6682.
* I will be using it in noisy environments. (e.g. on the streets in India).
* I wear glasses and would like the headset to be "compatible"

I like Plantronics and their Voyager 640, but the reviews i've seen are not all that glowing.

Any recommendations?

had it

I had the 640, it was nice but I didn't find the sound level very good, and it had more crackles than my BT250 from Jabra.

A colleague has the new BT500 and says it is VERY good, loud and the noise cancelling is very good as well. I think I am going to try that one next.

nmenaker Thanks. I'll check it out. Does your friend wear glasses? Does (s)he like them while wearing glasses?

I have the Plantronics 590A stereo bluetooth headset. Works good in noisy environments because it covers both ears. It works with my bluetooth laptop also. A bit bulky though.

I highly recommend the 590A for use in noisy locations such as airports. I realized that my cell phone has pretty good reception - the problem was that the speaker is horrible. Everything coming through the headset is crystal clear. A nice part of the 590A is that it comes with an airplane kit so that you can use it in flight and plug it into your laptop or the IFE system.
