Greetings all,
I am wondering if anyone knows of software out there for the ipod which would be a traveling phrasebook that one could listen to while on the plane, train wherever... I am aware of Talking Panda's European and Asian packages, but those seem somewhat rudimentary. Thanks!

Have you tried these: http://www.cyraknow-audio.com/
Another option would be to purchase the Rosetta Stone CD's and rip them to the ipod, a technique that will work for almost any CD or DVD audio based course.

Thank you ScottC! Unfortunately for me, none of my foreign language course materials are on CD (they are tape cassettes...sooo twentieth century). I am going to look into the CyraKnow software. Hopefully they will come out with a Japanese pack in the not-too-distant future as well.

Have you seen ChinesePod.com? You can subscribe to the podcast and download lessons that can be synched to your iPod.
