Unhappy Is your gmail account down?

Mine is

Last message I received was 12 hours ago. But I know that there are messages that have been sent to it in the meantime.

I've received messages in the last 30 minutes. Don't forget, as all the Google fans will tell you, "It's Beta!". Harumph

It's been slow to load pages for me in the past few days, but that's the only problem I've had with mine.

I've had no problems checking mail, but sending mail's been a pain. It'd hang on me and trick me into clicking "send" more than once. More than one Flyertalk has gotten three copies of the same e-mail from me because of this.

I don't trust gmail anymore. Yes I love it, but I don't trust it.

I have "sent" messages that don't appear in the sent mailbox. I am trying to get my email, and it goes crazy sometimes.

I guess that's why it is Beta....

The fact that it's free and beta means we can't complain. I certainly wouldn't mind a paid version of Gmail, though. A reasonable yearly fee and reliable service would be a good compromise.

I have found Google very slow to load the past few weeks and gmail very problematic. I wonder if their servers are just overloaded. We have a T-1 connection to the Internet. Most other web site load very fast, as usual.

POP access

I have been trying to configure OUtlook 2003 to check my GMail account, but I keep getting asked for my username and password. Anyone else have trouble with POP access?

Haven't been able to get into Hotmail account from within Outlook, Outlook Express or via MSN for about an hour. Must be some server problem again...
