I don't know if that helps you at all, but long story short, I didn't seem to do anything on my end to either cause or fix the problem.

Thanks, nerd.
I have had my Gmail account for a while, thanks to Flyertalk, but rarely use it. I like the free POP access, so had finally decided to set it up. I will ride things out and see what happens.

Hi gmail FT'rs,
From your experience, would you recommend gmail as a new account, for someone already using fastem.com?
I was thinking of the capacity to save digital photos while I'm on honeymoon.
Have't bothered with it until now but just wondering if you'd
a) bother
b) use and rely on gmail keeping saved files such as digitl photos and bookings info
c) is it worth a try? Any where/who would I ask for an invite, if they are still out there?
Thank you and have a fun week.

I use G Mail primarily as an address to send news clippings to, so I check it a couple times a day. About 1 out of every 100 times I do get a message that the account can't be accessed, but this seems to clear itself up within a few minutes. I can't recall it ever being unaccessible for more than a few minutes.
Send me your e-mail address and I'll send you an invitation. I don't use it to store anything except text meesages, so can't answer the other questions.
