Two iPods on one computer: help please

I finally got myself an MP3 player: finally decided on an iPod Photo 30GB. Quite a good value I think since it is only about 40% more expensive than the 6GB Mini iPod but has 5x hard drive space and the color screen. Got the Bose Sound Dock to pair it with. Excellent sound quality. ^

Now one question to the iPod experts:
Since my wife also has an iPod (Mini) and manages it from the same computer I manage mine, is it possible to separate what's hers and what's mine? I am really confused as everytime I add one extra song to the 'Library' and updated it onto my iPod, the next time she updates hers the song will be uploaded to her iPod as well.

Thanks in advance for your help.

One way is to make another user account so she would have her own login and thus a different iTunes library. Also you might want to enable fast user switching so you don't have to logout.

System Preferences > Accounts

One way to do it would be to set one (or both) iPods to update only the songs on a given playlist (so you would have a playlist called "StarG's iPod" or something similar). You do this by plugging in the iPod, and then going to iTunes' preferences window. Hit "iPod preferences" and then switch to "Automatically Update Selected Playlist Only", and choose your playlist. Then, when you add a new song to your library just add it to the playlist and presto, it will only copy to that iPod.

Seems like there more than one way to do it.
Again thanks everyone for the quick responses.
