I am in Malaysia working now and looking for a good call back service with clear lines. Any recommendations?
Can't seem to find cheap phone cards for international calls like i can find in bangkok or singapore.

Well, I was..
Well, I WAS going to recommend my favorite sevice, debitalk. These guys are/were GREAT, cheap rates worldwide, great quality and backed by IDT.com, a major growing telco in the states,
but, I have JUST found out that they have closed this product down, so,
that said, anyone with an account should call them and get any credit refunded, which they just did for me immediatly, and I guess we can start looking for a new providor.
I'd like to be able to find another great call back service, that doesn't charge monthly fees, with rates to europe in the .10$ range, and NO MOBILE PHONE premium, but it was hard the first time, and will be equally so this time I am sure.

I've been using www.satelcall.com for the last year. Their rates seem pretty good, although there is a mobile phone premium, at least where I'm at (PL). They don't charge any monthly fees.

I've had an account with Dial Thru International (also known as RapidLink) for about four years. Very reliable service in Europe and on a rare occasion where I had a problem, they set it straight with a credit right away. And an online account manager where all transactions for the life of the account are available to review.

no VOIP needed
So, you do NOT need a VOIP heaset to use Skype on your laptop. A good heaset, with an external mic and earphone, will be between 10-30$, depending. Plantroics makes nice ones, just get one with an Audio jack AND a microphone jack and plug it into your laptop.
The VOIP headsets from various manufacturers, are for VOIP systems, such as those from Mitel, Cisco, Avaya, etc. When you have a true VOIP over CAT5 phone system, and intelligent handsets at the desk, THEN a realy VOIP headset is necessary,
and they start at about 100$ and go up from there.

I've used Kallback.com for several years. Generally work pretty well. VOIP will have better rates but you can also direct Kallback to go to your mobile phone.

I've been using GlobalPhone (www.gphone.com), which, from what I was told, is the callback service of choice for U.S. Diplomats & Consular staff worldwide. So far so good and the rate looks very reasonable compared to others. Have I been lucky so far or has anyone experienced any problems with them at all?
