Microsoft Windows XP Has 10 Security Updates Today!

We have a number of laptop and desktop computers at home that utilize Microsoft Windows XP Home or Professional Editions. Microsoft fixed a number of vulnerabilities in its Windows versions this week. If you are set up for automatic downloads, you should have them. Today, my Microsoft Windows Automatic Update downloaded 10 security updates, which I was advised of and installed by clicking on the usual icon when I signed-on this evening. I then checked my Windows Office application and found 2 security updates ready for download and installation. I made sure that all of our computers were updated.

This is a head's up for those of you with Windows to check for available security updates if you don't have Automatic Update capability. If not, open Internet Explorer on the Web. Click Tools>>Windows Update. Scan your system and install all critical updates. Check Windows Office as well.

There were ten updates for Windows XP. Apparntly, Windows 2000 has six, while 98 and ME have two each.
