Gmail and Firefox problem

Since I discovered both Gmail and Firefox here, I thought I'd ask this. I've been using both happily for a while, but it stopped working recently. When I try to access gmail through Firefox, the login process fails. But when I use Avant, gmail works fine. Is anyone else working OK with this config? Or have I hosed my PC somehow?

I am using both of them for almost 6 months now. No problem reported.

Everytime when firebox bugs me here and there, clearing the cache will always make it happier. Try it to see if it works.

I had it too (briefly), but it seems to be ok now.

I only saw it happen for about 10 minutes earlier tonight after a reboot.

Try switching to "secure" mode by adding an "s" to http://gmail.google.com

https://gmail.google.com

Usually fixes any problems for me (no matter which browser)

Thank you. I was wondering if the Apple Store on Michigan had an issue with gmail.com. I guess they do (and am glad it was not "just me" again.
