Updating Mozilla
I'm currently running Mozilla 1.7.1, and wanted to update to the newer release 1.7.3. Is there an integrated "Update" function? Or must one do a full uninstall of the older version? If the latter, how do you preserve your bookmarks (the directory referenced in the release notes is not on my computer). Thanks for your help.

Just reinstall 1.7.3.
Your settings, bookmarks, etc are kept in your profile which is not part of the main Mozilla install.
Personally, I'd upgrade to Firefox/Thunderbird as more work seems to be going on on that end. If you do upgrade to them, they have import functions when you install them (and after as well if you wish).

Thanks for everyone's advice. Using your tips, the uninstall of 1.7.1 and new install of 1.7.3 has been completed, and bookmarks are intact
One further tip would be to uninstall the Adobe (Arcobat) Reader and re-install it after the completion of the Mozilla install (download a fresh copy off of the Adobe site if needed).
