Am I allowed an XP question?
Maybe not the correct forum...but the tech folks hang out here.
Error: Stack overflow at line 22.
(Which happens when I access the calender on NWA)
I have tried posting this question to several tech forums and no one has responded or can help me.

Just a stab in the dark, but it sounds like the program (the calendar application) is generating the error, not XP itself. I'm assuming that you don't receive this error with any other program, correct?

Another random shot in the dark...
But try re-installing Java. Either MSFT's (if you can find it), or Sun's from www.sun.com just download the Java Runtime.
Like I said, shot in the dark, ya never know.

That's almost certain to be a program error, not an XP error. Something in the software is conflicting with the OS. Update the XP to the latest version (they may have written it for patches you haven't applied yet) and upgrade your java as recommeded.
But that's the result of the software, not XP.

this is a BIG complaint I have aboue XP and how the OEMs ship computers without usable XP disks other than these worthless recovery CDs that require you to erase your hard drive in order to install some bogus early version of XP, reload all the patches and cr*p and then reinstall your applications and data

Internet Explorer would still be on my PC, I just would not use it, right?
Next, some websites run only with MS Internet Explorer ...!?!

i.e. You have FT open, and you also want NWA open, and the ability to switch between the two?
