Hotel High Speed - configuring Eudora?

Hotel High Speed - configuring Eudora?
I bought a connector and used hotel high speed for the firs time, Hyatt Betheesda, free in the lobby. I used the web to access my mail and had so much junk that I think I spent 20 minutes deleting.
Question: I used Eudora and have it configured to filter things into mailboxes which mostly prioritizes nicely. Is there a way to configure Eudora to download my mail from my ISP to my laptop from the hotel systems?
Is there a way to use a web service and set up filters and categories?

You can use Eudora anywhere. I've used it in hundreds of hotels all over the world. Just dial out and grab your mail the same as you do at home.
The only problems might be if you have to connect through a VPN or firewall at work. If that is the case, you need to have your I.T. people setup access on your laptop.

I'm not dialing, I'm using the hotel's network. I think I have Eudora configured for my local ISP. When I tried to download mail with it, it didn't work.
I know it can be used, but I don't know how, and whether it would be different for each hotel.

Some ISP's (actually use to be most but that is changing) don't allow you access to the e-mail and the rest unless you connect through them. I use AT&T as my backup ISP, and they were that way for a very long time, but now they do allow outside access. Before that, unless you dialed into an AT&T port or cabled modemed in through them, you didn't get anything from them.
Check with your ISP to see if they allow it. If they do (again most do now) they will probably have a page telling you what you have to do, for example you may have to sign in through them, check a box saying allow access, and then you are fine.
