USAToday Looking For Input on WiFi - Today Only
Dear USA TODAY ROAD WARRIOR,
We'd like to hear from you about Wi-Fi, regardless of whether you're just getting ready to buy a wireless-enabled laptop, you're already a loyal fan or you've ruled it out for now.
If you're NOT interested in Wi-Fi at this time, please tell us why. Do you have concerns about cost, access or security?
If you're ALREADY WIRELESS, we'd like to learn about your likes and dislikes. Please feel free to share any stories - humorous, inspiring or otherwise - about your Wi-Fi experience.
* How important is Wi-Fi to business travelers? Do you use it to check emails in airports? Has it become a vital for you in other ways? Please cite an example where Wi-Fi either came through for you or failed you on deadline or in a crisis?
* How easy is it for you to find hotspots? Where do you typically access Wi-Fi when traveling? Have you had any trouble finding convenient hotspots in airports and hotels? Will you choose a hotel or airport with Wi-Fi over one without just to have a wireless connection?
* How are you paying for Wi-Fi? A few hotspots - in parks, for instance - are free, but otherwise prices vary by network and plan. How much do you determine which plan to sign up for? How much do you typically spend a month on Wi-Fi? Any budgeting tips for fellow road warriors?
Please respond by Wednesday and include a contact number where you can be reached if case we need to call you. No need to reply if you're reading this Wednesday evening. Thank you very much for your participation.
Sincerely,
Barbara De Lollis
