SIN Wi-Fi Hot Spots

Ok, now you can be connected in Suntec City while chasing the elusive chicken rice and slapping Asian pop CDs at Tower.

I think some of the Dome coffee shops/restaurants are Wi-Fi enabled, too. Of course, the Conrad has been Wi-Fi enabled for several Internet years.

How does the police state keep track of who's doing what? If I remember correctly, all public-access Internet terminals (such as Internet cafes) in Singapore must keep a log book of their customers, including name and local ID or passport number, in case someone downloads or posts something they "shouldn't." How does this work in a WiFi environment?

StarHub also has WLAN coverage at Changi, in addition to the WLAN network that has been available at Changi for some time. (Of course I've never been able connect to it.

I use the Net2Room service at the Conrad when I'm there, but I've never been successful in getting in touch with Net2Room customer "service." Does anyone know what SMTP server I can configure when using Net2Room?

(I see that the Conrad raised the rate for using Net2Room, in contrast to many sites in the US that are lowering their rate or offering for free. Grrr.)
Thanks.
